Construction Site Safety Plans

Are you having trouble winning that contract? Or you have won that contract and the site Safety Manager will not let you on site due to the fact you do not have a Site Safety Management Plan. We can develop a Construction Site Safety Management Plan tailored to your business. The Construction site Safety Plan includes a Safe Work Method Statement.

What is a Construction Site Safety Plan?

The plan consists of policies of your company, a Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) which identifies the hazards involved in your job tasks which you and your sub- contractors will encompass on site. The hazards are identified and a risk management process is set out to display how you have identified the hazards and the controls that you propose to work safely whilst on site.

Utilising AS/NZS 4801: 2001 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems, Specification with guidance for use, the plan sets out each process and how you intend to conduct yourself in regards to legislation and standards whilst carrying out your tendered work.

What is an OHS Policy?

The OHS Policy is a statement by the company that sets out how the business aims to achieve its safety objectives and targets. As we know, no two people are the same and this extends to business. Construction Site Safety Plans are not generic; they require design to include different trades and at most the individual company. A1 Safety Matters can tailor a Construction Site Safety Plan to suit your business.

What is included in the plan?
